BAAEP > PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS City College of San Francisco City College of San Francisco is the fiscal agent for our Partnership. Suzanne Korey and Jerry Bernstein are Project Directors. Dan Silin works under them as project coordinator. The Automotive Technology program serves up to 400 students offering two year certificate programs in specialized areas of automotive repair. Chabot College Chabot College, located in Hayward, California, offers two year certificate programs in specialized areas of automotive repair, serving approximately 100 students annually. Steve Small and Jim Baum are the lead instructors for the project. Chabot College will articulate with Eden Area ROP and Mission Valley ROP. College of Marin The Indian Valley College Campus located in Novato, California is the site for College of Marin's automotive program, serving approximately 100 students annually. College of Marin offers certificate programs in specialized areas of automotive technology. Ron Palmer is the lead instructor for the project. College of Marin will articulate with Marin ROP. Its automotive program serves approximately 150 students annually. Mike Fernandes is the lead instructor for the project. Contra Costa ROP Contra Costa ROP sponsors automotive programs at Kennedy High School in Richmond, California and De Anza High School in El Sobrante. Together these programs serve approximately 75 students annually. George Alston is the automotive instructor at both locations. These programs will articulate with Contra Costa College. Eden Area ROP Eden Area ROP's automotive program serves approximately 200 students annually at its facility in Hayward. Auto Tech I covers basic knowledge. Auto Tech II is an advanced course that is NATEF/ASE certified. Jose Sanchez and David Espinoza are the lead instructors for the project. Eden Area ROP articulates with Chabot College. Mission Valley ROP Mission Valley ROP sponsors automotive training programs at three high schools in the Fremont, California area. One of these is already NATEF certified.
